A career as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, spent both in this country and abroad, and a desire to provide holistic care to her patients, has led Amanda on a journey of exploration and learning.

To complement her professional clinical qualifications and experience, Amanda has sucessfully completed studies in complementary therapies including aromatherapy massage, reflexology, Indian head massage, and hypnotherapy and treats clients with a variety of needs. Amanda also specialises in the treatment of infertility, pregnancy and childbirth, using a combination of therapies, and is part of the team of expert advisers for Pregnancy & birth magazine.

Amanda sees the integration of complementary therapies with traditional medicine as the holistic approach to treat the 'whole person' and is now able to offer her clients a wide range of therapies tailored to their needs. In addition to offering therapies and treatments, Amanda is able to provide courses, presentations and advice on hypnobirth therapy, weight loss and stress management.

Membership of the NMC, Mbody and MNSPH provides Amanda with access to continuing professional development, support and insurance for all her qualifications.
