AROMATHERAPY

Back massage and aromatherapyAromatherapy massage is carried out using a blend of essential oils, chosen to suit each individual person. The vital therapeutic qualities of the essential oils are absorbed into the bloodstream via the skin, and may help ease many conditions, promote deep relaxation and a feeling of wellbeing. Massage techniques help to relax muscles and break down any tension, increase circulation and promote lymphatic drainage. Acupressure points are stimulated to enhance the flow of energy.

Handmade aromatherapy products are also available in creams, gels, floral waters and massage blends.

REFLEXOLOGY
feet

Reflexology is a natural therapy based on the theory that reflex points on the feet and hands correspond to specific organs and systems in the body. Thus, by applying gentle pressure to these points the related area of the body is stimulated and cleared of congestion. Reflexology promotes self healing and the return of homeostasis (balance).

Maternity reflexology is specifically tailored to treat all aspects of infertility, pregnancy and birth.

HOT STONE THERAPY

hot stones

An ancient mind, body and soul treatment using basalt (volcanic) stones. These mineral stones retain heat and are used in massage with deep penetration to relax muscle tension and promote a deep meditative state of relaxation. The energy flow through the main charka centres helps to release blockages in energy and restore balance. Aromatherapy blends are used in the massage to enhance the experience.

Indian Head MassageINDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Originating in India and adapted to suit the stressful western way of life, by incorporating upper back, shoulders and neck into the de-stressing treatment. The client remains clothed during treatment which can be carried out ‘dry’ or using an essential oil blend to carry out massage techniques. Acupressure points are located especially on the face, to aid circulation and lymphatic drainage. The treatment concludes with ‘chakra balancing’ to encourage a free flow of energy throughout the body.
